Small shallow floor box.

The OE Elsafe CARDINAL Floor Box is one of the smallest, shallowest Floor Boxes on the market yet it still provides an excellent solution for power, data and AV requirements in open spaces. The CARDINAL provides services directly to workstations, conference and training rooms, where other access is not practical. Designed for use in concrete floors, raised access floors, wooden stage floors and computer floor applications.

Recessed lid for carpet or tile insert.

The CARDINAL Floor Box design allows room for cables to be stored within the box when not in use. The recessed lid permits carpet or tiles to be installed to discretely merge it with its surroundings.


CONFIGURATION:	The CARDINAL floor box may be configured with components from the the OE Elsafe modular Qikfit range including our class leading OE Elsafe TUFA+C:Twin USB Fast charger and most types/makes of Data/AV. Other configuration options include pre-fitted 20A starters as well as 2 MAAP snip-outs on the ends of the box that allow for on-site AV installations.
CONSTRUCTION:	CARDINAL comprises of a ABS/Polycarbonate lid reinforced with a 3mm steal plate. The chassis is fabricated from powder coated 1.2mm mild steel.
LID OPTIONS:	– Recessed to accommodate material matching the floor i.e. tile or carpet. – Recessed to accommodate material matching the floor i.e. tile or carpet with a Messenger M.P.O. fitted for umbilical connection. All CARDINAL lids are removable and reversible.
COLOUR OPTIONS:	Lid/Frame – Dark Grey Chassis – Red powder coated Power, TUF and data/AV fascia’s – White, Black, Grey and Red (power only)
POWER CONNECTION:	Male GST input for Qikfit GPO’s Hardwired for pre-fitted 20A starters
INSTALLATION:	The CARDINAL is designed for use in concrete floors, raised access floors, wooden stage floors and computer floor applications.
SCREED BOX:	The CARDINAL Screed box provides a method to prepare for floor box installation at the time of construction. This eliminates the inaccuracies associated with boxing in timber or blocking with foam, the screed box can be installed with the conduits and wiring in place before the pouring of the concrete slab. The screed box is supplied with a protective lid to stop concrete ingress which is removed to install the CARDINAL floor box at a later stage. Alternatively the CARDINAL Screed Box can be cut into the existing concrete floor slab.
